Shri Lalithambiga Trust was founded in the year 1997 by Swami Jagadatmananda Saraswati, aiming to support people in their walks of life. The trust supports the underprivileged by way of food, hygiene awareness, educational and health care aids around the villages of Periya Thadagam, Coimbatore. Under its Can Cure project the trust supports the cancer patients for their various diagnostic test and treatments. The trust regularly conducts motivational value based education and mental health training programmes to the students focusing on yoga and meditation.
In association with local Hospitals, the trust conducts various Medical Camps of Eye, Diabetes, Women health and Geriatric care. Around 100 senior citizens get benefited every month in the eye check-up camps with spectacles and cataract surgeries. To promote Indian Culture and Heritage, our trust has an exclusive research centre with eminent scholars of various fields; Centre for Cultural Studies. This aims in teaching culture, Archaeology, Sociology, Philosophy, Science, Language and Literature.
